We Didn't Fear Change
Intelligence Turkey started operating under the name NTT DATA Business Solutions as of April 1, 2021.
After this transition, as a result of the analyzes we performed on the new site structure, we observed that there were incompatibility of the link structure, crawlability and indexability problems.
Before starting SEO optimization, we had to make a difficult decision to change the entire link structure. In accordance with this change, we prepared our plans to carry out our practices very carefully and meticulously.
Guiding search engine bots correctly during the link structure change process was a critical process for our project. We implemented our correct strategies regarding the simplification of the URL structure, the removal of the use of tags, 301 redirects on hundreds of links and 404 errors.
According to search engine algorithms, we successfully built many strategies such as category, subcategory, tag fields in a multilingual structure to better understand the hierarchical structure of our new site and prevent index problems from the beginning.
We Quickly Implemented the Right Strategies
Transitions to new structures are always difficult. In such radical transitions, many broken links, redirection and accessibility errors can occur.
Although rebuilding a domain address serving in more than 30 thousand countries and implementing critical technical work from thousands of links is quite challenging, we have managed to increase our sectoral and categorical (non-brand) traffic data by 300% with our past experience.
With our correct technical SEO strategies centered on the crawl budget, we ensured that all articles, pages and images were successfully included in search engine indexes without any loss of traffic, views and links.
We Did Not Ignore the Backlink Profile
With the change of the domain address, serious problems in the backlink network were noticeable at the beginning of the project. All dofollow, nofollow, referral backlink structures were under the threat of being lost.
We compiled all our backlink profiles by filtering them with various tools. We did not want to lose any links. In this work goal, we designed each link to go to the right source with a simplified link exchange.
Page authorities rose rapidly and easily reached the levels we desired because we managed the old backlink network correctly without ignoring it.
